Welcome to Hope Lutheran Church in Virginia Beach!
I'm glad you took the time to visit us here. Since you're reading this, I'm going to guess you want to know what it's like at
Hope Lutheran. Well, in my estimation, Hope is just a great place to be. When we're gathered for worship,
there is an excitement in the air, and there's an expectation that God will do things in us, with us, and around
us.
Our community here at Hope is a wonderfully diverse and warm group of people. We
care for each other. We pray for each other. We share our lives with each other. There are a bunch of
different ways that we carry out these activities (you can find a list some of them
here), and we hope that you will find your place in them.
Hope is by no means a "clique" or an exclusive club. We aim to be inviting and
welcoming. And if you join us for worship, you will see it first hand. The people here are filled with the love
of Christ, and they are ready to share that love with you.
If you're looking for a church home or maybe just curious regarding what
